The Yu-Gi-Oh! cookbook zine showcases recipes for food from and inspired by Yu-Gi-Oh, ranging from food appearing in the show to the favorite food of characters to Yu-Gi-Oh! themed dishes. The cookbook will also feature original fanart and written content from other contributors.Teams of artists, writers, and cooks will create a recipe to work with and assemble a four-page layout with a introductory written piece, recipe, picture of the dish, and accompanying artwork.The cookbook will ideally contain recipes from all series up to and including GO RUSH!!This zine is non-profit; proceeds will be donated to the United Nations World Food Programme, which provides meals to families in need around the world.

Contributor Info

General-Applicants must have (or be willing to create) a Discord account.-Applicants may apply for multiple positions, but will only be accepted for one.-Team assignments will be given after applications close; writers and cooks can expect to be assigned to more than one team-Each team will center their work around a particular recipe.Artist Guidelines-Artists applying to the zine are expected to present links to ~3 of their best pieces, showcasing what they would be capable of making for the zine (pieces that include food being highly encouraged in addition). Artists interested in applying to create merch should present 1-2 samples of what they are capable of creating for it.-Artists may treat their recipe assignment moreso as a prompt if they choose to; they are only required to have their piece feature the recipe/dish and have it be related to the series it goes with.Writer Guidelines-Writer applicants are expected to present links to ~3 of their best pieces, showcasing what they would be capable of making for the zine. All examples must be UNDER 2.5k words.-Writers may treat their recipe assignment moreso as a prompt if they choose to; they are only required to have their piece feature and relate back to the recipe/dish in question and have it be related to the series it goes with.Cook Guidelines-Cook applicants are expected to present links to ~3 sample recipes (and, optionally, pictures of completed culinary creations) that they are able to make.-Cooks are expected to create and cook recipes according to the prompt given, and will include a picture of the completed dish among their final deliverables.
