Yu-Gi-Oh! Cookbook Zine
A zine featuring recipes from and inspired by Yu-Gi-Oh!
The Yu-Gi-Oh! cookbook zine showcases recipes for food from and inspired by Yu-Gi-Oh, ranging from food appearing in the show to the favorite food of characters to Yu-Gi-Oh! themed dishes. The cookbook will also feature original fanart and written content from other contributors.
Teams of artists, writers, and cooks will be assigned a recipe to work with and assemble a four-page layout with a introductory written piece, recipe, picture of the dish, and accompanying artwork.
While primarily centered around Duel Monsters, the cookbook will ideally contain some recipes from other series up to and including SEVENS.
This zine is non-profit; proceeds will be donated to the United Nations World Food Programme, which provides meals to families in need around the world.

-The zine is looking for 3-5 additional moderators
-All moderators will participate in determining the final recipe list and regulating the content for zine
-Moderators are required to be active in the production of the zine and maintain regular communication
-Moderators will be permitted to create their own recipe page together as a team, in a similar fashion to other contributors
-Prior experience in zine moderation is preferable but not required
-Moderator applicants MUST be 18 years or older AND have access to Discord
-The zine is looking for moderators to regulate at least one of each of the following (though multiple moderators are permitted to be assigned to the same task):
-The zine is looking for 25-30 page artists, 7-10 writers, and 7-10 cooks.
-Applicants must have (or be willing to create) a Discord account.
-Applicants may apply for multiple positions, but will only be accepted for one.
-Team assignments will be given after applications close; writers and cooks can expect to be assigned to more than one team (3-4 approx.)
-Each team will be assigned to a particular recipe, which their pieces are meant to be centered around.
-Artists applying to the zine are expected to present links to 3-5 of their best pieces, showcasing what they would be capable of making for the zine (pieces that include food being highly encouraged in addition). Artists interested in applying to create merch should present 1-2 samples of what they are capable of creating for it.
-Artists may treat their recipe assignment moreso as a prompt if they choose to; they are only required to have their piece feature the recipe/dish and have it be related to the series it goes with.
-Writer applicants are expected to present links to 3-4 of their best pieces, showcasing what they would be capable of making for the zine. All examples must be UNDER 2.5k words.
-Writers may treat their recipe assignment moreso as a prompt if they choose to; they are only required to have their piece feature and relate back to the recipe/dish in question and have it be related to the series it goes with.
-Cook applicants are expected to present links to 3-4 sample recipes (and, optionally, pictures of completed culinary creations) that they are able to make.
-Cooks are expected to create and cook recipes according to the prompt given, and will include a picture of the completed dish among their final deliverables.
